The exhibition uses the physical and psychological landscape between Texas and California to examine a person’s relationship to their place of origin. The performances will follow the same trajectory, the program includes Shibuya Tokyo for two violins by Karen Tanaka (Los Angeles, California), Ainsi soit-il for solo cello by Nina C. Young (Los Angeles, California), Greenlandic for string quartet by Gabriel Bolanos (Arizona), xs for string quartet by Karola Obermueller (Albuquerque, New Mexico), String Quartet No. 3 by Michael Ippolito (San Marcos, Texas), and the world premiere of String Quartet by Max Vinetz (Houston, Texas).
